On Samsung, open the Smart Hub and go to Apps. On LG, open the LG Content Store. Both stores carry multiple IPTV-compatible player apps.

Most Smart TV IPTV players show a device ID / MAC address or a playlist upload address on first launch. Keep this screen open.

Any Samsung Tizen or LG webOS Smart TV from roughly 2016 onward with app store access works. Older TVs can use a Firestick plugged into HDMI instead. Trial windows rotate with capacity, so ask before you assume one is open.
No. Unlike Firestick, Samsung and LG setups use apps installed directly from the official TV app store. A stable 25 Mbps connection is generally enough for full HD, and 50 Mbps is the figure this site gives for 4K or two rooms.
