Full step-by-step Smart TV setup
Step 1 — Open your TV's app store
On Samsung, open the Smart Hub and go to Apps. On LG, open the LG Content Store. Both stores carry multiple IPTV-compatible player apps.
Step 2 — Install an IPTV player app
Search for an IPTV player app (IPTV NYC recommends the current best option on WhatsApp, as store availability changes). Install it like any other TV app.
Step 3 — Note the app's device ID or upload screen
Most Smart TV IPTV players show a device ID / MAC address or a playlist upload address on first launch. Keep this screen open.
Step 4 — Message IPTV NYC on WhatsApp
Send us the app name and the device ID shown on screen. We activate your plan and link your channel list to the app.
Step 5 — Restart the app and start streaming
Close and reopen the player. Your live channels, sports, movies and PPV categories load automatically.

Which Samsung and LG TVs work with IPTV NYC?
Any Samsung Tizen or LG webOS Smart TV from roughly 2016 onward with app store access works. Older TVs can use a Firestick plugged into HDMI instead.
Do I need to sideload anything on a Smart TV?
No. Unlike Firestick, Samsung and LG setups use apps installed directly from the official TV app store.
My TV app store doesn't have the recommended player. What now?
